On a scale from one to ten, Haviland Stillwell is off the chain. Haviland is “little but fierce”; a born-and-bred Southern girl with a seductive city-girl edge -- that rare and exceptional combination of smarts, ambition, beauty and ridiculous talent. She is often compared to Scarlett O'Hara, probably because they've both got pretty fairy-tale hair and Georgia roots. Actually, you wouldn't ever leave Haviland without giving a damn.

Haviland's favorite word is "action" and her least favorite word is, subsequently, "no." That's 'cause she likes to get things moving and push dreams forward while flooring you time and time again with that smile, that voice [that voice!], and that impeccable comic timing. Haviland intends to one day become a brand.

Haviland: The Brand.

She'll make this happen, because she makes it happen, and because she does a really good imitation of Britney Spears, a lot of accents, and looks super-fly in gold pants.

When strikes are not happening throughout the entire entertainment industry, Haviland spends a number of hours climbing barricades on a rotating stage while singing in the Broadway revival of LES MISERABLES, and the rest of her hours working on exciting collaborations with some of NYC's most innovative and cutting edge artists, writers and entrepreneurs across disciplines, industries and media platforms. She can do almost anything except slow down.

Turn-ons include efficiency, kindness, awareness, enthusiasm, beaches, sunshine and good lighting. Turn-offs include apathy, laziness, bigotry and boredom. This is all contagious, catching, and rising/shooting, like stars.

Haviland grew up in Georgia, where she first graced the stage at age six, playing the title role of "The Little Red Hen," for which she rocked a costume made almost entirely of construction paper and cardboard. She continued developing her killer pipes by watching Bette Midler movies, and, around the age of 10, started working as a casting assistant for television and film projects including "I'll Fly Away,” “Fried Green Tomatoes,” and “Scream 2.” That's when she knew. You know -- "knew." That she wanted to be an actress. By the time she graduated from the Paideia School in Atlanta and went off to Ithaca College, everyone else knew too: this girl is obviously gonna be a star.

Haviland transferred to New York University, where she graduated from, with honors. She immediately made her Broadway debut in the 2004 revival of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. She's since been in a lot of readings, a few more plays, and television work including ABC's 'Six Degrees' and "Living it Out," currently in development. She also served as Associate Producer on the original Off-Broadway production of John Cariani’s play, ALMOST, MAINE, and put together her own solo concert THE REAL SECRET, which one reviewer dubbed her "arrival as a talent worth noticing.”

Haviland Stillwell is more than meets the eye, but what meets the eye ain't too shabby. She's a muse to feminist photographer Layla Love, the host of the upcoming Broadwayworld.com web-series “Flirt” and a regular "character/blogstar" of writer Marie "Riese" Lyn Bernard's AUTOMATIC-WIN/Automatic Straddle blog universe. You can catch their vlogs on Riese or Haviland's YOUTUBE channels, where you can also catch Haviland in Aaron Weiss' short film MIGHT BE RIGHT and enjoy videos from Haviland's performances on ROSIE O’DONNELL’s star-packed r-Family Cruise.

If heaven exists, what would Haviland like to hear G-d say at the pearly gates? "What's up sister, let's join forces."

Obvs, the force appears to be with her. And as Haviland’s frequent inspirational voice and collaborative spirit SUSAN POWTER says, “I haven't even begun. I'm in the infancy of having the privilege of living this life. I'm still in utero. Oh G-d! Just wait until I'm born!”
